Oh gosh I wish I remembered. ): They left due to family conflicts and personal life / deviantart life getting intertwined in a bad sort of way, that's as far as I ever heard.

Not always there in appearance. My appearance is almost entirely Polish, even though I'm also native american. Lol. Genetics are fascinating.

My great grandmother was 100% sioux and surprisingly I look like her and my fathers grandmother. I actually look like a combination of my grandparents and great grandparents on both sides of my family. I like being a "mutt" because people wonder where I got my looks from and wonder how I ended up with my cousin's exact body shape. My father is African-American and Caucasian and my mother is Native American and African- American. Between my half-sister and I'm pale and yellow/red and she is just warm brown color. One of my teachers thought I was Asian and wrote minority on the board for the first day of school.

My family has always said I ended up with a lot of Polish in my skin, but a lot of Ojibwa in my blood. xD

Ya it was hard for me to find out what band my family was a part of. Everyone hated my biological grandpa that was half because he abused my grandma, but thankfully my uncles knew about our family history a little bit.
Hopefully you find someone in your family that knows a bit about your history!
