It ended rather abruptly though. I think they need an episode 40.

Yeah, personally I found both the series and the movie a bit rushed

The movie was ok, but definitely the series showed evidence of cutting corners. (Notably the abrupt animation change between seasons 2 and 3.) They had some real high quality stuff (Like getting the voice of Stephen Fry among others!) but also the reverse. And I disliked the whole magical ending. What happened to Silverweed exactly? (And Vervain, and Granite!) He's old... so what now? Is Woundwort really gone? What will he do now in Watership? So much possibility!

Well I've been told they may be doing another TV series so I'm hopeful there.
But waaaah! I want more episodes! Cowslip got away with everything!
