You can count on a sister to laugh a bit before helping you up from a fall.Not much to say about this one that hasn't been said multiple times. As usual, making the grass around Applebloom was very time-consuming and difficult, but worth it. Enjoy the photo.

well this is very unusual to see from you here. i have not seen such a lightly shaded PIRL of yours since looking at your old PIRLs. To be honest it seems rather lacking.... the grass is great, no doubt about that, but on first glance i didn't think it could be created by you. If i may pose a little critiquing, it feels very.... novice to me. I would have put some more shadow on Applebloom and Applejack, and a little more lighting....
but, that is just my opinion, just seems rather stuck out when compared side by side to your other works.

See, that's the problem I've been having with a few of my newer works.Β If I don't pick a picture with really distinct lighting, I feel there isn't much to shade.
I battled a bit with how to shade both AJ and Applebloom in this picture, but as I compared them to the environment they are in, the shading seemed almost unnecessary.Β Yes, it's definitely less shading, but does it really need it?
Considering my lack of "proper" techniques, and the fact I never adjust the photos I find, I find it almost impossible to find the right details to put down in pictures like these.
