That special place outside of Ponyville where two girls can talk, laugh, swim, and share those secrets no one else can know.Wow, what a fun picture to make! Lots of challenges this time, but making the ponies appear underwater was so much fun to do. GIMP continues to amaze me with its capabilities. Enjoy the picture!

would you be so kind to tell me how you make the underwater part? layer effects or simple transparency..also do you have to remove the parts hwere the water reflects the light or will they become "invisible" automaticly (if you used a special layer effect for that) thx xD

I'll do my best to explain what I did:
First, I copied a rectangle of the water area where the vector was going to go. I cut out the area on the top of that rectangle to make it look like the water was around the pony, making that "floating" illusion. (In my honest opinion, this part was the worst part of my picture. It's the least natural-looking part to me.)
I ended up having two parts to the pony vector: the top half above the water, and the bottom half under the water. To make those halves, I took the alpha selection of that newly-made rectangle, and cut the bottom part of the pony vector. I made that into a new layer to work with. I put the "waves" effect on it, and made it about 50 percent transparent (give or take). Lots of tweaking to make it look the way I wanted it. I also had to use some effects to make the lower parts of the bottom half appear more invisible, but not by much.

I also used a bit of IWarp after the waves-distortion to get it look right, even thugh I think it's a bit easier if you have a bigger aprt underwater ;D
I gotta get a picture like that from somewhere, because damn this looks cool I want to try that out so bad xD

I might even so it..I used pictures from google until I found my cam again and advanced search was very helpfull back then ^^
BTW, what do you think about doing a colab one day? ^^

Rarity looks fine, but i guess You've taken wrong Twi vector, she looks incredibly dru herself.
Besides i think that'd improve the picture if You put some water stains on their coats.

Eh, I really didn't find any better Twilight vectors to use. At least this one had her hair more flowing-like, which in my opinion, makes it look wet.
Water stains could be nice, but I'm not sure yet how I'd implement that. Idk, maybe I'll try that on another picture that has water.
