Description
So much has changed within the last 1000 years. Celestia brings her sister on an aerial voyage to show her the new Equestria.I haven't done much with the princesses so far, so I decided to change that tonight. Overall, a very fun picture to make. Nothing really new to report on new techniques, unfortunately. I decided to stick to my usual shading and glowing effects. Enjoy the picture!

Looks quite unreallistic, but still nice.
I think theirs upper edge should be way brighter, like the clouds' surrounding.

I don't know, I wasn't exactly going for realism with this one. I wanted a fantasy-feel, and I think this pictures achieves that pretty well.

eh..... something seems a bit off overall about it.... something to do with the lighting... but i can already tell, you spent dirt and fortune trying to make it this good. i think it might partly be the glow effect. for once it doesn't work as well here..... i'm not sure. But it is still majestic-looking as always.

Eh, maybe there is a bit too much glow in this one. Still, I felt it needed some because of all that light behind them.

She's a pretty standard princess, all things considered. Still, I like the small things they've done with her character, like fooling the Cakes with that coffee/tea.

what have you against our royal supreme sun lord???? are you trying to cause a mutiny?! sure, she isn't quite as cool as Luna, but she's still got a major part in the balance of the world. if it weren't for her, Luna wouldn't be able to slack off and play video games all day!

Anyways, first of all she represents sun, that means she also represents sunrising, which is equal to morning, which is my least favorite time of the day especially after a night of doing anything but sleeping xD Also in the summer I can't wear my hoodie because of the sun, how the hell shall I become a hunter if the Zombie-apo starts in summer?
Okay as she doesn't actually exist she can't rly be a part of balance in the real world, but let's stay in the fictional world fo a while, while she is a part of that balance, the balance as a whole piece is still created and maintaned by the shinigami, what means she is more or less just a tool rather then creating the balance herself
Ah yeah...also as LUNA is the princess of the night, why can't she play Games in her free time (at day) and what's wrong about playing video games all night, I thought that's what night is for....the government just doesn't like it, that's why they come up with things liek school and work to force us to sleep during night

Bryal, I love your stuff, but I have something for you to try out. Try incorporating those sun rays to come off the vectors. It takes some getting used to and I'm no professional at it either, but it's something to help add even more realism to these pirl pics

By "coming off the vectors", do you mean shine over them? If so, I get what you're saying, and yes, I need to work on how to make those. I do have to admit, I'm not sure having those would work that well for this picture. Those sun rays are a good ways under the princesses.

There would be some over, but mostly under them in terms of layers. It really depends on the execution. I think it's worth giving a shot, at the least.

I guess there could be hints of some over them. Still, I'll think about using that for any future pictures I make.
