Bryan, this is by far the most beautiful shot I've seen from you.
The mercury quality of the ocean, the jet stream swept clouds that hair stylists would kill for, the jet black sky.
This is sensational mate!!!!!!
What's the secret? Under exposed with a polarising filter?

thanks mate.
i'd call it luck and yeah, a polarising filter...and up to my neck in ocean.
it was an amazing evening and i was lucky i had the time and energy to get out there and utilise it.
post-work: desaturated the colours a little because they were too deep, i thought.

don't you worry about wetting your cam, while taking it in the water??
or are you as lucky as to have a underwater case for your cam?

i do worry a little about getting my camera wet, but i'm not going to let that stop me from taking the kinds of pictures i like.

Aha, desaturation factor.
Very nicely done mate, overall effect is just awesome.
Makes me feel really insignificant and if a photo can do that, you know you're onto a good thing

Holy crap that is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. The swoop of the clouds right there, oh man that's killer. The motion and colors in this is just astonishing.
