Jaws was pretty much the first movie ever to freak me the fuck out. Ever. Not even Chucky creeped me out as much, because hey, that doll had a pretty good sense of humor. (Chucky 1 and 2. The rest can all fuck themselves.) Of course, immediately after I went out and got a shark plushie and fell in love with it. What can you do?

this is really good the art has a 50's- early60's EC comics feel to it....you dont expect jaws to be drawn in that style .

I think one of the best details is the gore dripping from the mouth of the beast. It somehow captures the agonizingly ponderous quality of how slowly sharks will gnaw at prey when they feel secure enough to taste it.

Ooo, I LIKE your attention to detail! Thanks for commenting! I was trying hard to get just the right color (so vividly displayed toward the end of the movie) of blood mixed with foamy seawater. Haha.

Poor old captain Quint! I wish he'd lived and the shark had eaten Richard Dreyfuss. Quint would have been awesome in the sequels!

I don't like this. It is not the right drawing. The best drawing from this movie is the shark swimming up high and the lady swimming on the top of the water. It's on the posters. Draw that instead.
