Some time ago, I met a Japanese girl in a Manhattan club who, as it turns out, has a snake tattoo that I got to learn went...everywhere. Lucky me.

Sexy vampiress is there any female vampires that aren't so damn seductively appealing? This looks very interesting and I've been looking for a new graphic novel to read. Perhaps... if I can get the other volumes even if they're only printouts from that website.

Thanks for your kind words on my sexy little Vampiress.
Not sure what you mean by "even if they're only printouts from that website"...
Whether you order my books from my online store, or from the IndyPlanet website, they are the exact same books, made by the exact same printer. That is where I order them from, and then sell them through my online store. Same product from the same source.

Those serpent tattoos (Are they tattoos?) defiantly add to her seductive appeal, damn! See would kill me and while I'd be dying I would say ‘Worth it.’
I did mean from the IndyPlanet website, but I didn't know if they were paperback or just a stack of print papers from a printer. (Joys of a mind that is too lazy to clarify.)

Side note. How exploitive we talking here? Like throwing a kid into a horde of monsters to distract them from coming after you. Promising a person to keep them alive only to kill then anyway?

Quick question: I haven't read the first two volumes. Do I need to catch up on the story, or could I jump into these two knowing only the basic premise of the characters?

That's a tricky question to answer - and I'm probably the worst person to ask as the creator of the series!! So let me just give you (what I hope is) a dump of useful information, and hopefully this will answer your question and help you make the best decision about buying Wulf and Batsy comics, and where to start.
I've always said that in terms of story continuity - my Wulf and Batsy books work more like Indiana Jones movies than Star Wars movies. Which is to say - Each one stands on its own. You don't HAVE to have gone through all the previous stories in order to understand the new story. Enjoying them out of order, won't leave you feeling like you are "missing something".
BUT - if you DO enjoy them in order... It helps.
Each book tells its own story, with its own cast of characters. But in each book there are little moments, jokes, references, and (sometimes) cameo appearances by minor characters... these things won't be confusing to new readers - but they will be more meaningful if you have read the previous volumes.
A little more info on ordering - Unfortunately both Volume 1 and Volume 2 are SOLD OUT at my website store - I plan to restock those books as soon as funds look a little better. BUT - until then, you can always order both of them directly from the printer at this link: www.indyplanet.us/brands/crypt…
So if you prefer to "read up" on the first two volumes before diving into the new story - that is still possible.
As for the two new books (Volume 3) "Magnum Orgus", and (Volume 4) "Magnum Orgus 2", the reason to get them now is to take advantage of my Pre-Order options, which will save you money in shipping. You have until June 1 to take advantage of the Pre-Order deals.
Sorry for the long, rambling reply... I hope it helps!

That's about what I figured, but I needed clarification. I sadly never got around to purchasing the first two volumes, so I certainly wish to redeem my mistake here (and maybe whenever the first two are restocked). This one looks really cool and I just wanted to make sure it would be a decent starting point.

Thanks for the kind words and your interest in my books!!
It may be a little while before I can get Vols. 1 and 2 restocked in my personal store.
But, as I was saying in my previous reply -
Vols. 1 and 2 are always available for order HERE: www.indyplanet.us/brands/crypt…

No problem. I've enjoyed your work since I was a kid and I've always thought the characters seemed appealing, so I'm just doing what I should have done long ago. It kind of slipped my mind, but seeing this awesome ad made me think "oh, right, that great looking thing you never bought, you should get on that now."

Out of curiosity: is there any difference between whether the books come from indyplanet or your site?

BryanBaugh In reply to Capstain259 [2017-05-16 06:35:51 +0000 UTC]
The books I sell through my site ARE the same books sold at IndyPlanet.
Indyplanet is just an online distributor for the Printing company that manufactures my books.
Whether you order copies from my online store, or from the IndyPlanet website, it is the exact same product.
