Description
This guardsman was stranded behind enemy line. Both his squad and commanding officer has been slain by the Orks horde. The commissar that was assign to his squad was badly wounded and was in no condition to move on his own. In a desperate attempt to survive, he improvise by combining the commissar power sword and a metal rod nearby to create his own power halberd. Due to the sword excellent capability to cut through nearly anything and the additional reach of the staff, he will increase his chance of survival while falling back to the nearest outpost . Will the commissar he is attempting to save be grateful or will he shoot the guardsman for committing tech heresy? To anyone who doesn't know, in the Universe of Warhammer 40k, combining tempering or combining technology together is consider Tech Heresy therefore the Imperium will probably kill you for heresy. But what if combining weapon like the Orks is the only way to survive a all but lost battle? This is the driving idea behind my animation.

By canon Power Halberds are a thing. While the guardsman might not be executed by the Magos. If he survives and hold the line, the Magos may think "he clearly has the Omnimessiah's favor" The Guardsman by surviving the battle is now a veteran guardsman. He may be even be gifted by someone (maybe even his Commissar) "well the Emprah clearly wants him armed with this weapon" Then in two centuries the Adeptus Munitorum considers this pattern power weapon a thing. He might even become a minor Imperial Saint depending how "miraculous" his life is later embelished.
