Description
The city of Philadelphia. I took extra care when etching City Hall, as it's my favorite landmark of the city. I documented and posted the progress of this piece on my blog (bryanetch.blogspot.com ), which can be found in the archives (2010).Thanks so much for all the kind words and to those who helped make this my first Daily Deviation!

Early graphics laptop? ...hasn't changed too much compared to the modern laptop. Simplistic two button user interface, and when the screen locks up, grip in both hands and shake vigorously over your head.

Who needs a laptop when you can etch-a-sketch anything? The connection may be a bit slow but the graphics interface is unlike anything else. Thanks so much!

you should check out Michael McNevin, he was half musician half Etch-a-Sketch wizard, he's more musician now but you can probably still find a lot of his images floating around. Similarly creative, kudos!

Very interesting stuff, he's like a lost hero of the etch! He dedicated albums to it. Our sketching styles aren't all that different, I'm intrigued. Thanks!

No probs, he was a local small-town legend to my area (since moved), figured he deserves a bit more attention and though you'd get a kick out of it
