Good idea! I guess first I'd need something to sketch though [link] this is the most detailed thing I've drawn so far...and I just made it up You managed to do something real, and you did it accurately! You're WAY better than I could hope to be

I've only been etch-a-sketching regularly for about a year and a half and I think I'm really comfortable with how to get the stylus to go every direction.. It doesn't take too long to inherently know how to move it nearly as well as you could use a pen or pencil. If you keep at it, you could probably get to the point where there's little difference between your regular art and your etch-a-sketch art. I like your etch-a-sketches, I hope you do more

I mostly have a feel for the way the cursor works... I mean, I don't need to think about right and left or up and down and I can just twist without thinking about it to get the right diagonal or curve.... but I'm pretty low on patience and I mess up when I have to let go of the wheels and get a new grip

I definitely do like your sketches, you should submit them to the "etchasketchists" group that my friend PikaJane runs. She's a fantastic etch-a-sketch artist who I've come to be good friends with over the past year. We're always looking for more people with rare talent for the etch Keep it up, you'll only get better! I can promise you that!

I did this in the backseat of a bus on rides to and from work, usually squished between a few strangers with little to no regard for fragile art. I've lost better etches than this several times. - None of that was true but I thought it would be interesting. Thanks for the nice comments.
