I was able to watched Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and OMG, I love the movie so much that it’s in my top 5 favourite Godzilla movies. I love how the movie goes, the soundtrack, Shimo herself and her innocence, Godzilla’s evolved form, Kong represent the best of humanity and the Skar King represents the worst, the conclusion of Kong’s character and story arc, Mothra gets to stay alive at the end, and the Skar King gets his comeuppance and everyone (Jia, Ilene Andrews, Kong, Suko, Shimo, The Great Apes, Godzilla and Mothra) has their own happy endings, although Godzilla might get to have a movie to give his story arc a satisfying happy ending since he is to be the main focus of the next MonsterVerse movie.

Now for Shimo and the Skar King in my Godzilla AU: Hollow Earth Friends. Godzilla who permanently evolved earlier than Canonverse Godzilla did at 2027 has finally freed Shimo from the Skar King’s mind control thus gaining a girlfriend in her. The Skar King is a constant enemy of both Shimo and Godzilla, being the former’s arch-nemesis and the latter’s arch-enemy. Their daughter Winter is basically the benevolent reflection of the Skar King, considering that she has a pure heart and her weapon is designed to counter the Whipslash and Shimo has been extremely angry towards the Skar King every time she sees him.

This drawing showcases Shimo and the Skar King fighting each other in a brutal duel to the death. Shimo’s shirt is reduced to a collar and a tip of the right sleeve and her overalls are damaged, having missing the left strap and left side of the bib. She received bloody wounds from the Skar King cutting her up with his Whipslash on her belly and her right arm, with the former causing her overalls to be stained with blood. She is also bruised on her head, shoulder, elbow, hand and foot. By the looks of it, she has about enough of taking hits from the red ape, so she grabs his arm and bites onto it pretty hard that this draws blood out. The Skar King screams in pain so badly that even his former subjects mocks him and laughing out loud.
