Description
One of my favourite The Land Before Time movies is The Land Before Time II: The Great Valley Adventure as I have been watching it so many times, possibly my most watched movie of the series. It is also the first movie where the antagonists are not Sharpteeth (carnivorous theropods), it shows that even Sharpteeth have families and most importantly, the Prehistoric Pals has a new member, the baby Tyrannosaurus Chomper.

Chomper is such a cute predator and is also seen alongside with Ruby in the TV series and Journey of the Brave, which means that Chomper and Ruby have a little-brother big-sister relationship with each other. In my AU however, their roles are swapped: Instead of Ruby being the big sister figure for Chomper, Chomper would be the big brother figure for Ruby. In the first chapter's first part which is based on the first 1988 film, Chomper and Ruby are first seen being attacked by Screech and Thud until Littlefoot came and fended off the Utahraptors. Chomper and Ruby are mainly supportive to Littlefoot alongside Ali and Ember after he defeated Cera and both Chomper and Littlefoot have so much in common: They both have fire as their element, they are both fast and agile, they have a sleek build, they are both brave and selfless and they both share a discomfort around Spinosauruses.

Chomper in my AU is a major protagonist, being a major protagonist of the first part of Chapter 1, a supporting character of Chapter 1 Part 2: Firestone, a supporting protagonist of Chapter 2: Revenge of Rhett, Chapter 3: The Heavenly Paradise Adventure, Chapter 4: Red Claw's Empire, Chapter 5: Fear and Tyranny Incarnate, Chapter 6: Valley of the Giants and Chapter 10: Final Wars, a minor protagonist of Chapter 7: Krystal's Quest, Chapter 8: The Darkest Hour, Chapter 9: Reign of the Destroyer and spin-off The Land Before Time: GDK, a major protagonist of series Littlefoot and Friends and the titular main protagonist and focus of the spin-off Chomper and its sequel, Chomper 2: Rise of Shatter.

Chomper is an awesome combatant with his impressive skills with his jaws, agility and prowess that would make him an already dangerous predator, but he is actually of a scavenging variation of the T. rex species. And while his elemental abilities are not as powerful as Littlefoot, Chomper is still not doubt a capable foe.
