Thank you! I know exactly what you mean. I am not a fan of big unrealistic weaponry or armor. And I'm really happy when I get the opportunity to draw something that makes sense. So many people now want to see big World of Warcraft weapons.

I know anime influenced the WoW look a lot, and each to their own, but as a weapons collector I think the most iconic designs from media are of moreΒ realistic proportions (thinking of Conan's Atlantean sword, various movie katanas, LOTR weaponry). It kind of reminds me of the way body proportions got grossly over-exaggerated in many 1990s comics, like somebody is overcompensating for unimaginative design. Hopefully 'peak weapon' will soon be upon us.

Exactly! I am just so not a fan of that kind of thing. I love the weapon and armor design in Conan. The stuff they did for the Lord of the rings movies was really good to.
