I can't lie...I envy your shading skills. The lighting and composition here are kickass!

Thank you very much. Your work is promising. Really just think you need to go darker. Don't be afraid to go all the way to black. And to lose edges when they're not important In that darkness. You want to keep in mind where you want the viewer's eye be drawn to. And to make that the area of most contrast. Sometimes I get it right.

Thanks so much! My struggles with contrast are never ending, it's true. Mostly 'cause I didn't even realize such a thing existed until I started art school last year. HA! But really, I appreciate the tip!
And thanks for the !!

This is gorgeous. I love how flat and together all the colours look at first glance, but you can see how there is in fact a large variety of colour in it upon closer look. I really like how the light source works on her chest and face, it looks really dramatic. Also, I like how there is a lot of colourful detail in the figure, and less in the background. The solid blacks in the back really help her stand out. Great peice!

WOW! Thank you. I'm actually blushing. I think that's the coolest comment I've ever got.

You're welcome. I hate seeing works that have obviously taken the artist a lot of effort go without recognition. You see far too mny one-word comments on deviantArt, unfortunately. Keep up the good work, though.
