In the comics, Strange stayed out of the fight. Iron Fist also never joined the fight. Punisher, however was with Cap. He saved Spider-Man when he switched sides, but everyone including Cap believed that Punisher was too extreme and was kept out of the conflict.Β

Actually, Iron Fist did join the fight. During Civil War, Matt Murdock wasn't Daredevil. Danny was. So in a way Iron Fist did participate.
