Bed time had finally arrived after a long and exhausting day of hard, constant training. Goku cleaned up and went off to his room. He entered into his bedroom only to discover an MP3 player laid upon his bed. Goku, the curious boy that he is, picked it up, and see's a tag, taped to the MP3 player. He turns the tag around and reads it.

"Push Play Goku" was written upon the tag in Master Roshi's Hand writing.

"Yeah! Fun!" Goku excitedly fussed with the device, as he popped both earphones into his eager ears.

As he lay back waiting for the MP3 player to start, he noticed a bump under his pillow. Reaching around the pillow, he pulled out a banana from underneath it.

"Huh? Weird..." He held it as the MP3 suddenly began to play, freezing, eager to here what Master Roshi may have put on this MP3 player.

A faint humming started in a 1...2...3... rhythm, making Goku feel a tingle up his spine. With a giggling, and wiggling his toes, he listened on, the humming giving way to a deep drone, then into a pulsing beat, rhythmic with each new sound.

Goku's mind started to wander as his attention was no longer on the sound, but watching the moonlight make the trees outside his window look like they were alive, a simple trick of the light, but none the less, interesting for him to stare at. He lost track of time as the trees swayed, this way and that, could have been minutes, or hours...

He wasn't sure it happened, or when, of if... A voice, now so barley audible... The humming, droning, pulsing sound was just covering a voice, that ever so slowly grew more audible, it seemed familiar to Goku somehow.
He strained to Listen, but it was so hard to hear it. Seemingly out of nowhere, he suddenly felt very comfortable. His poor feet ached after such a hard day of training and now they felt heavy and relaxed, the "who" of the voice didn't matter anymore.

More tingling and waves of heaviness washed over him, gently easing him into a light daze, a slack smile played across his lips, as his eyes began to get heavy. It felt really good, being this sleepy and comfy. Without being aware of it, Goku then started to peel the banana he had clutched between his fingers.

The voice that had eluded him, came to the fore of the relaxing foray of sounds now slower than they were at first. Goku felt his breathing slow down, a familiar sensation when he practiced his meditation. He was now in a deep trance state, unaware of his actions but enjoying the sounds of the MP3 player. His tail started to gently sway as he curled and uncurled his toes, a comforting habit of his from birth.

The power of the hypnotic file playing directly into his ears and brain, his mind wide open to their suggestions, and happy to obey them.

"You are a Monkey Boy Goku... You want to eat the banana... Monkeys eat bananas... You like bananas... Be a good Monkey Boy and eat the banana..." the voice repeated in rhythm with the background sounds.

Goku, unconscious now to all physical awareness, carried out the suggestion to be a Monkey and eat the banana. The voice made him feel good about obeying. He really wanted to obey.

The voice continued . . .
"You are a good Monkey Boy... Who is a good Monkey Boy?"

"I...am...a...good...monkey...boy..." Goku garbled through mouthfuls of banana.

The banana was almost all gone, and yet the MP3 had more suggestions . . .
"Monkey Boy's dont wear shoes... You want to be a good Monkey Boy... You won't wear shoes monkey boy... "

"I...wont...wear...shoes...I...am...a...good...monkey...boy" Goku slurred as he swallowed the last bite of banana.

The voice continued . . .
"Monkey Boys obey Master Roshi... Be a good Monkey Boy and obey Master Roshi..."

"I...obey...master...roshi...I...am...a...good...monkey...boy" Goku started to lose control of his voice as he relaxed into his roll as a monkey boy.

The MP3 went on four hours, stripping away all his self awareness, leaving the primal monkey mind that his race once was. The MP3 concluded that he would only become the monkey boy when Master Roshi used the trigger word "Go Bananas!". Until then goku would remain the same. The MP3 training was deep and thorough.

The next day, Goku woke up to the music playing on the kitchen radio. A Song called "Go Banana's" sang boy Master Roshi in his rock band years and years ago.

The MP3 player was gone, he was having trouble remembering the sounds on... on... Meh, he couldn't remember anything, like a dream that suddenly vanishes when you try to recall it. He got out of bed, and didn't bother to put his socks and shoes on, it didn't even occur to him. All he wanted was a banana and to go and relax in a tree outside.

As he passed the living room, Master Roshi watched him walk outside, barefoot, and climb a tree.

He smiled....
