I feel as if this is a great example of minimalism in terms of the colours, mostly because it feels as if you've got one hue there but many shades.. .if not all of the shades, in fact. o.O
The lighting is amazing and I think it is fantastic how there are patterns and shapes in the background to make this even more profound. I would have suggested moving the camera higher a bit and maybe more to the left as well, but all in all, it's not bad!
Perhaps you could also rotate this to portrait format.. but eh.
