Did you get the Frankensteins Monster one? That one is fantastic too. Although it blends in with the Thames

Lol! You have the knack of putting things so perfectly I adored him with Maxwell mmm and when he steals that train and says 'would you be so kind as to get up some steam..?' Mmm yes gladly Mr Frye Why didn't he have some beautiful woman to fall for?! 
Oooh I'll have to check about the DLC. I'm so tempted to look at the Jack the Ripper thing but no doubt it's part of the ludicrously expensive season pass!

I haven't gotten to Maxwell yet. Though I JUST read the dinner invitation from him,
so I'll probably be doing that tomorrow. Because I need to see all of these things.
I've just mostly been chest hunting or fight clubbing today.
Or royally failing at bounty hunts. Gods, am I ever horrible at them.

I was worried he was going to go for Pearl, and I was adamantly not okay with that,
because she was suspicious from the get-go. So when she was assassinated, I was quite pleased.
I've been resisting the urge to create an OC. resisting so hard. 
I will agree he needs a lady love, though. I mean... Evie got Henry. 

I don't remember how much the season pass is. I bought it a couple of weeks after I got the game. 
(probably one of the purchases I made when I had the job) 
I haven't done and of the Ripper stuff yet though. 
I keep hopping between Syndicate and Wild Hunt.

He. Is. Wonderful. In a wild, murdering, dreadful way. On my second playthrough, I realised that his sequence could be done immediately so I did it first lol

Oh hell Hun you're just like Paul doing all the 'extras' as you go along I'm afraid I was too desperate to see the storyline as usual and missed massive amounts of missions etc <3 
Argh bounty hunts I despise them! In the end I just tend to kill my target and carry them to the carriage lol 

I did rather like him with Pearl, they seemed to match, though I assumed she was much older than him.. I dunno why that's a point any more, I'm too sleepy lol (has anyone ever woken up 'refreshed' cos I sure as hell ain't..) 
I suppose they thought one romantic interest was enough, though please enjoy the next sequence  

ooh well please let me know what the ripper stuff is like when you get that far

Most of the villains are wonderful lol. I'm a sucker for a good villain.
I definitely get the extras if I can. It really depends on my mood though.
Sometimes I really just want to fight club to beat people :/
And the whole "helping out actual historical figures" is pretty cool.

I kill my targets almost every single time. I used to try, but then I just...
ugh. I really am horrible at it. Although I love listening to Jacob threaten the 
target when he's dragging them to the carriage alive. 
I'm just bad at it. I have videos of my royal bounty hunt fails. 
I'm also HORRIBLE at carriage driving, so that adds to it.

I just thought Pearl was kind of suspicious. There was something I didn't 
like about her. And then she was a Templar. I respected that she wanted to keep
the omnibus company as her own and all, but I didn't like that she used Jacob. 
I also really liked her purple dress. 

No, nobody is ever refreshed after sleeping. Ever. 
I just slept for 12 hours and am not refreshed. (then again, 
I'm also sick and depressed, so theres that.)

One romantic sequence is NEVER ENOUGH. 
Though I see a lot of Jacob/Roth shippers on tumblr. 
Kind of weirds me out since I haven't seen Roth yet.
And I'm not sure how I feel about that.
We'll see. I probably won't be jumping on that bandwagon,
but perhaps I'll understand it?

I will certainly let you know how the ripper stuff is. 
I'm curious about it myself. Because if it's just one of the "dreadful crimes" missions,
then it's not really worth getting the whole season pass for.

Oh indeed p, but Maxwell's the most wonderful, and I'm certain it'll be rather obvious what my favourite part is when you see it <3 
I bet a bit of your reason is to see a topless Jacob too  
Its good, but the bit that gets me is Alexander Grahame Bell.. Lol because it turns out he wasnt as nice in real life as they depicted him. He stole the patents of other people's inventions and submitted them as his own. The real inventor of the telephone died penniless and almost forgotten.. It cooled me a bit to him.. Lol 

I've managed a few. I tend to set my gang in, then when the target runs, I tackle them outside of the Blighter Territory and walk them to the carriage. Oh I'm a dreadful driver too, I park it on the delivery area then get off and kill my pursuers 

oh indeed the purple dress should have been a hint to her Templar-ness but I was oblivious! I never felt anything suspicious lol I'm so damned blank! At least Jacob got his own back.

Oh gods. Roth is a nut. A complete loon.
And I already love him. I've only done the first mission, with the explosives in the train station,
but I read his bio and he's glorious.
I love the whole traveling theater troupe and circus runaway. IF that's even true.
Still. He's a lovely wonderful madman. 

I know Bell isn't the greatest. I was mostly just enthralled with the whole cast of historics, really.
I don't have a favorite. Considering Jacob is my favorite.
And Evie. Gods, she's such a bad ass. 

I have horrendously failed at almost every bounty hunt in The Strand. They're all dead.

I was also really oblivious to the purple dress. Purple is my favorite color, so I was over here
admiring her threads, and then I realized purple was the templar color. Ugh.
I'm glad Jacob got his revenge though. 

Things will get better eventually, i'm sure. Just... not at the moment.

lol oh indeed, on my first playthrough I tended to play as Evie more because of her viciousness, but these days, there's no way I avoid Jacob, only using Evie for sequences I have to use her for <3

Oh, I agree. They were all so wonderfully done.
Darwin is fun. I like Marx too. Even though I kind of fail hard at his memories.
I mostly play Jacob. I love Evie, and I play as her sometimes, but it's really mostly Jacob.
I can't seem to stay away from him. 

I didn't get the unique kill  
I couldn't figure out how to get it. I did everything else in there, but I didn't get the unique.
Sadly.

And now I've gone back to Witcher and started the hearts of stone officially.
And ohmygods I am absolutely in love with it. Ohmygods.
I cannot even put into words how glorious it is.
Like.. 100% worth it.
The characters are just so amazing, the story is perfect.
Gaunter O'Dimm and Olgierd Von Evrec are just pure amazing.
So. Good.

You have to be in the rafters above the train.. I died during the mission and it respawned me over the top. So my uselessness got me the unique kill for once <3

I've done a good few of them. Mostly I've done Bell stuff because he gives me
all the cool toys lol. 
I absolutely always HAVE to play as Jacob. I mean. I don't ignore Evie, especially since
her lady dracula outfit is absolutely gorgeous and I love looking at it. 
But Jacob is all around absolutely gorgeous.

Ohhhh okay. Yeah, I didn't go into the rafters. I was too dead set on 
just killing Pearl. I'm also not very good at successfully doing unique kills.
Hey, whatever works. That's pretty awesome.

Oh I really do love it. It's just so wonderful.
The characters are so fantastic. I have a feeling you're probably 
really going to like Gaunter. Maybe.

Oh Lady Dracula is gorgeous. Along with the Dracula cape.
It's by far my favorite Evie outfit. It's all black and red, leather and lace.
Perfect.

Oh yeah. His threats. Hnn. He can threaten me. Wouldn't be much point to it though,
not like I'd try to escape. :3

I've seen one unique kill, in the asylum. Except Eddie had to do that mission for me because I 
kept failing. I do this thing where when I keep losing, I get pissed and hand the controller over.
Fortunately, I enjoy watching games just as much as I enjoy playing them, so it works.

Yeah, definitely get it when/if you can. It's SO GOOD. 
Everything about the expansion is wonderful. I have no complaints as of yet.

It's one of the DLC things. With all the other literature items.
It comes with a dracula sword cane, an alice kuri, a levathian gauntlet... I dont  remember what else.

I'd pretend for like.... a split second, but probabyl jsut grin widely as he led me off.
He'd also probably have a "wtf" look on his face. Cause I'd be like "oh no, by all means, continue to threaten me."

Yeeeah the asylum was nuts. I got too frustrated. I wanted to bust in and kill them all,
but Eddie's better at that stuff. Mostly.

I'd be throwing him all sorts of compliments. Probably enough to toss him back into the wtf zone.

Sooo no Jacob manhandles for me.

Oh I'm horrid at Stealth. I'm just "HEY HI HOW'S IT GOING!?"
as I bust out of a hay bale and wreak havoc on anything in site.
And the "don't kill and policemen"? Fail, fail double fail, screw up entirely.
Especially since I usually have a full set of rooks, and they give zero shits about 
who they're shooting at.

Oh a note! That would work. He seems awfully flattered when he gets mail too.
I'd send him all of the notes. 

Ugh yeah. I accidentally assassinated a good couple of policemen.
Once, I was stalking a criminal along a rooftop without eagle vision on, was positioned 
directly over him, and then when I hit the assassinate button, it was a cop I dropped on.
I ran like hell.
I've also killed a few when they tried to interfere in my gang fights.
The rooks are sometimes more trouble than they're worth, and they certainly don't help 
with stealth, but I've kind of just said screw stealth for the pure mayhem that the rooks provide.
Plus, they're useful during carriage chases.

The one where it wasn't an accident was the very first Karl Marx memories quest.
I just got swarmed by police, so I smokebombed them and went to work.
They always deserve it butting in on gang wars. 
The rooks are about as bad of carriage drivers as I am. It makes me feel like a proud parent
to watch them slam into light posts as the screech to a halt.

I used to accidentally smoke bomb people when I was trying to do attack combos, 
and then I realized how useful they were for large groups of enemies at once.
They're a staple. I tried the volt bomb thing, but always end up killing civilians and 
getting reprimanded by the game. Ooops.

Sometimes it works out in my favor.
I'm also a big fan of the neurotoxin needle dart things.

Mostly, I was concerned with the shade of the leg armor as I was looking at a reference I had for the
particular material color, and the Obsidian material looks a tinge more black.
However, you're right in saying it would take out a lot of the detailing. I usually try to add a hint of blue 
or purple to blacks to make it a little less..er..plain old dark, I guess. I'm not unhappy with it,
it's just not the exact. Which is fine.

Ah, thank you so much again.
I've learned not to use any solid black or solid white cause the shading usually makes it lifeless 
with just grays to shade it with. 
Or so I've been told. I guess I took that one to heart.

I guess it ultimately depends on your techniques.  I've seen artists who block out completely in black and white, and then go over and color tint, and it still looks rather good.  But I do understand what you mean about it: not all shadows are black and not all highlights are white.  They're like a very minimal usage thing, and they're more for accent, unless you're working like monochrome or something like that.  I think the few times pure black and pure white are used in shading with color is like as a base for chrome and things like that.
