I'll be honest... I like how you have him drawn. I'm so used to seeing the Autobots with more flat optics to their face, sans the visored mechs mind you, so seeing Rung for the first time threw me for a loop.
While I'm not new to Transformers in general, I'm new to seeing him as a newer character...
But I love how you have done his eyes! And his serene features overall pretty much.
But a great touch is that you didn't just leave the negative space white. You filled it with an aged texture. Nicely done!
I keep getting told to check out MTMTE, so that at least, I'm working on ^_^
