Strangely no. And I'll tell you a few reasons why his disguise is JUST this side of feasible.

1) Appearance. There are many ways to change one's appearance to make oneself less noticeable. This version of Superman (like most versions) has gotten off to a good start by having a REALLY noticeable outfit. This is good because it distracts people from the actual person by having a few recognizable elements, such as the red belt, red boots, and of course the big silver "S". Moreover, he's leaping/flying about and lifting enormous objects, which most people don't do. So if he decides to hunch over, wear nondescript clothing, and maybe cover his face with thick glasses, people won't immediately associate him with Superman. The bonus being the thick glasses may well make it hard for him to see, making him genuinely clumsy.

2)Personality. Superman is a very dominant person. Nobody would imagine this guy taking crap from anyone. So if he presented himself as passive (not necessarily meek) in his day job, people would not necessarily associate him with anyone.

3) Honesty and Truth, not the same thing. Nobody would assume to be LOOKING for Superman hiding somewhere, simply because they have no reason to assume he's hiding. He appears in public quite frequently, is NOT wearing a mask over his face, and has told everyone his name is Kal-El and he's an alien from another planet (which is believable considering his amazing powers, and has the added benefit of technically being true). They know he lives in his Fortress of Solitude, though nobody knows where that is exactly. Thus, they have NO reason to assume that he even has a secret identity, so they won't be looking for him.

4) Clark Kent looks like Superman! Which is true. He does look very much like Superman. But lots of people look like other people. To say he looks like Superman is a lot like saying someone looks like Tom Cruise. Also, the argument "But they're never in the same place at the same time!" is crap because I seriously doubt everyone who looks like a certain celebrity has been in the same room as said celebrity. And again, they have no reason to assume he IS Superman, so it would just be an interesting curiosity. Even if someone doodled glasses on Superman's face in the paper, it would be called coincidence. Because EVERYBODY knows his real name is Kal-El.

This may not be true in this particular reboot, but when you think about it, the disguise makes a lot more sense. And it all hinges on him having TWO perfectly accurate identities even before he became Superman. Also, I've tried this disguise once. It kinda works, even with my friends.

Thanks! Heh yeah I was always confused about why superman didnt have a mask on, I mean all the other super hero's have masks dont they? I thought about drawing one but I dont know Im not really good at coming up with good designs so it probably would have came out horrible if I did draw one!

Haha, yeah i didnt really like his old outfit either. But I guess designing clothes and whatnot is jus another thing I got to work at!
