Hunt for the Shadow“Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all adventurous Boucles! The annual hunt is once again upon us. This year, a search for a shadow. What does this mean? Join us for a day of reckless adventure, boundless fun, and the crowing of a champion!”
Pelagius read aloud the poster that was taped to the wall.
Kraken rolled his eyes. “Great, this again. Why does she have to be so dramatic about it?”
“Who’s being dramatic? And what’s this all about?” Raven asked.
Kraken turned his head towards the smoke colored mare. “Luma.” The scaly Boucle growled. “She flounces around like she owns the place and expects us all to partake in her little games. I couldn’t tell you why she’s calling it the ‘annual’ hunt, we’ve never done it before. I think she spends most of her time in a fantasy world.”
“So no one knows what this hunt thing is about?” Semyra asked, joining in to the conversation.

[BU-LIT] Spooky Adventures: Campfire StoriesKirea was right, the mountain path was steep, and it even proved a challenge to Roger’s excellent stamina. Duva, however, had almost no stamina to speak off, and was already worn down after only 10 minutes of climbing up the mountain.
“I need, a breather, right, now” she exclaimed, gasping for air and wishing there was more of it here. The higher they got, the more thin the air became, and even though she controlled ice and iced weather, this iced air was different, out of her powers.
With her eye almost pulling out of her head, she did keep following the others up the mountain, surprised by how well everyone could keep on climbing. But she needed a reason to stop for a bit, get her breath back. Perhaps.. ?
