Spring PondPelagius stared out across the field and sighed. A breeze picked up and ran through his mane, bringing an unwelcome chill to the spring morning. The breeze carried something else. A soft voice, calling βPelii!β Looking into the distance, a group of his friends were running up to greet him. Leading the charge was Dove, a blue poof with a very colorful mane, her height giving her a tiny speed advantage. Behind was Dandelion, her golden coat glinting in the sun, and Seaphi, a stunning stallion who appeared to be gliding across the ground, his double tails streaming behind. Dove called again, βEverybody is going down to the lake! Come on!β
βBe right there!β Pelagius responded, wondering to himself who βeverybodyβ was. With Dove, it would be literally anybody. Or actually everybody. He shuddered at the thought. Upon reaching the other three at the bottom of the tiny slope, he bowed his head slightly in greeting.
