More of my latest swap aus! I love how Rarity turned out in this one, I tried to give her a similar beehive hairdo to her mom. I was going for tacky, but she came out kind of elegant, so I think I'm gonna go that direction for her! Suri is a little sweet for my taste, I see her as a very chaotic character for some reason but at least she's cute. Info time! Starting with Suri because she's the protagonist (this,, may have been an awkward way to group these)

Suri Polomare is a small town girl through and through. She had a brief fascination with the city as a kid, but ended up choosing to start her business at home. An eccentric tailor with high fashion dreams, when she's not doing her normal sewing work she's working on extravagant personal projects. Being the element of generosity, she tends to mend garments free of charge, which isn't a great business model, but something she ends up doing a lot anyway. Despite her cutesy look and habit of putting others needs above her own, in personality, Suri is sassy and sarcastic. She's more than happy to help, if you're willing to stand her constant quipping. She's also known for singing bridleway hits while she works, not that she's good at it, she's just really loud.

While Suri chose to stay in the country, her childhood friendMiss Rarity Belle was more than eager to get the heck out of her dodge. Somewhere in her childhood, Rarity's family moved to the city, and she's really manehattan lifestyle to heart. Growing up surrounded by the fast paced high stakes fashion world, Rarity is willing to do whatever she needs to to get ahead. She's also of the stuffy mindset that 'true' fashion isn't for the 'common pony', and it's unattainability is what makes it special. Suri steadfastly believes fashion is for everyone, and anyone can make something unique. This comes to a head when they cross paths once again at a fateful fashion competition in Manehattan, where they battle it out to see who's right. Rarity only utilizing the most blandly beautiful supermodels she can muster, while Suri shows off the uniqueness of her friends. Also, I couldn't fit this in anywhere else but Rarity's shy assistant is Sassy Saddles.

Another swap down! A little cheesy maybe, but I'm making this up as I go lol. I was considering having Suri go by her original name Buttonbelle, but I think that'd be too confusing. Also, Rarity and AJ are absolutely dating in this AU (as they are in all universes ofc). Evil wives, I adore them.
