Personality: Lucy is wise beyond her years, with a natural understanding for people and animals alike. She's very calm and collected in the way she carries herself, and has a soft hand. She's the type of person that others seek out of advice and for comfort, and she's got a great hug! She also can be very bubbly, and loves a good party or night out every now and again! She's very non-judgemental, so often she finds herself being the emotional dumpster for others. It's a good thing she doesn't get overwhelmed easily! However, it does mean she gets taken advantage a lot, and she ALWAYS forgives no matter what.

History:

Lucy Maclund grew up in the great up north of Minnesota, near Duluth and along the coast of Lake Superior. Wide open spaces, with lots of land to run and explore, and forests to trek along, is all she's ever known. And boy does she love to explore! Her parents own the property of Black Bear, and are avid equestrians themselves. However, they've always been for the more ranch style of things, with cows and buffalo and other livestock on their personal farm. Her mother once dabbled in eventing, or rather spent her entire young life doing it, but after she met her husband and had kids... well, she became weirdly scared to risk herself with that type of riding. Lucy must have picked up on that english riding gene though. She's done a wide variety of other disciplines, always excited to try something new and learn more about the equestrian world, but show jumping is her favorite. Her parents were always very supportive of that too, making sure they did what they could so she always had the best trainers. They would even send her to Aiken for the winters, as she was home schooled, and allowed her to expand her knowledge of the industry. She's immensely thankful for those opportunities, especially now that she has her eyes set on being an international rider and trainer. It was this wish and hope for her that drove her parents to invest in opening up Black Bear. With time and age, she hopes to own the facility herself one day.
