So adventurers usually must wait until they reach villages, towns, and cities to do shopping, but they might come across merchants and traders during their travels. These adorable moles travel through tunnels and will pop up above ground if they hear passerbys. They then set up their wares and are more than willing to sell and or trade with adventurers, you never know they might have something worth while
