Description So, I thought to try and make a morph last night,
turned out it's easy and DAZ has the tools to avoid rigging problems.
So, presenting my first morph, completely made in Blender 2.79
Her skin is a work in progress.

She needs a name though, her name so far is TestMorph

The 'name' translates (roughly), into Dull Pencil. (Not the sharpest tool in the shed...)

And yes, she could well be from Barcelona.

You know what? You 're right she could be a Spanish woman,
and there are so many beautiful names but I found an italian one
I think it fits her!
How about Sabina?

One of the Sabine Women? (Nowadays she'd be one of the #MeToo crowd...)

Nice work.

I tried to make morphs in Blender but failed to get them to work so I turned to Hexagon for my morphs instead. Still not always working as I want but at least I can get them to load properly into DazStudio

Watch this and you will do it!

Basic step: Set the resolution of the female mesh to Base before exporting!!!
It's the first thing I did in DAZ that worked from the first time and didn't turn to a nightmare!

I will help you if you need help, just ask!
If I did it, you can too.

I might do that some day. But at the moment I've got my hands full with creating a board game.

Yes, it's a pirate themed co-operative board game where you all work together and try to win over the game, but since you're all pirates there will be some foul play too.

I've had this plan for a board game like this for too long, so I figured why not do something about it.

By the way, you don't happen to do pirate clothes for Gen8 characters?

Oh my fiance just showed me a pirate dress, what a coincedence!

Oh
I'm not only looking for pirate clothes though, going to need all sort of clothes used back in the 16-17th century.
But that's a later problem

You will learn, just like I did. This is the first time I made a DAZ morph,
took some reading to get here but eventually I did.
Lately, I 've made so many things for the first time, you will too

Come on, you are a modeler!
This is very easy, it is just some sculpting and some propotional editing!
I will give you the vid I used and please try it

Note: This guy is also using some DAZ morphs before Blender, BUT
if you do this you can't share the morph, it's illegal!

In general, it's very boring making things working in DAZ. Modeling takes some minutes
or days but then , there's a looooooooot extra work inside DAZ.
I realised this when I made my first actually comlete outfit, which was the swimsuit,
I have the swimsuit.obj and then 3 extra folders of objs, who are the morphs.
Other morphs for full body (Victoria, Aiko etc), other morphs for body parts (breasts mostly)
and other morphs as correctives for the poses. It seemed a nightmare I must admit,
but I'm patient I guess. Or stubborn. I am both.
I had to re-model the swimsuit so many times..

The morps are very easy though, you should try. :blow:
