Caellus and Hohto flapped along the Roenden coastline as the pale sun fell, casting its dying rays over the snow-covered land. Caellus, not one for the cold, began to shiver. Yet Hohto remained vigilant, her keen eyes searching the air for prey. Suddenly, she spotted it -- a snowgoose, lazily coasting in the slight breeze. It was alone. She signaled to her companion, who was much more awake now, and the two silently soared in the moonlight as they approached their prey. The sun had fully set by now, yet the hunt was just beginning. Caellus rose in the air while Hohto spun and dived, the two suddenly appearing alongside the startled bird. Dinnertime!
