First real My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fanart. And with it, I have experimented once again with my drawing style. >u>;;

I made the lineart completely by hand(Or... tablet...) without using the curve tool. I also made the lineart a dark pink/purple, which I think just made the lineart "pop".
I also tried some soft-shading instead of my usual cell-shading, and I think it just made the whole drawing cute!

Now, the butterfly wasn't meant to look so blue, but rather a turquoise that was meant to match and bring out Fluttershy's eyes. The pose may look slightly awkward due to the fact that her bottom half is on it's side rather than upright, making it look like her cutiemark and wings are gone and her tail is coming out of her side. And her hair is much more curly on one side than the other. D:
Oh, and I tried making a background, but it just made the whole drawing look bland!
But other than that, I think it came out better than I expected.

As much as I love everypony on the show, I think Fluttershy is the one that appeals to me the most since I am a bit of a socially shy and animal-loving person(pony?) myself. Although I'm sure a lot of other people are too. c:
