very cute! Nice texture on the football and nice swiping of the title as he twirled his chair.

I've seen so many video game cutscenes that were so much worse than that. You are heading places. The way you focused in on what was most important was AMAZING. Keep it up!

I had to watch this a second time- it's so nice! I really feel for the boy... I wish I had a friend like that at some point, taking the opportunity a missed kick just to get him outside, hehe.
I love the character models on this. The designs for the boy and girl really fit each of them wonderfully.
It's a great video- and I really like it! ^U^

What, did they use to play together, and painted that mural together, and their friendship eventually deteriorated, but seeing that memory hit her nostalgia hard and she was like "hey you were pretty cool let's be friends again"

The characters were really simple, but I don't think that's a bad thing. My favorite part was watching the boy walk over to the ball--the sound of bare feet slapping the wood was perfect, and I don't think enough people respect how difficult it is to get little bits like that just right--it's a lot easier to make big active movements than it is to make subtle, emotive movements like those, and you do them well.
Did you do all of the work on this yourself? If so, that's really impressive. I think my only criticism is that your lighting could use a little work. I can appreciate the emotional contrast you were going for, but I think if you gave his room a little more of a warm bounce light from that strong shaft of sunlight, it could still be dark and enclosed, but have a little more depth.
Really though, this was a year well spent. Congrats!
