After watching the whole film, I understood why you didn't show the door opening, but it doesn't look very good as it is; a little time with the door closed would have felt much better. Instead of how you did, maybe you could have used another point of view, or some way of covering the door for the spectator, perhaps using the ball. And her hand should be touching the door, not hovering in front of it :b
Animation wise, there are a few mistakes, but there are other little details that stand out great
