Very nice, the background pastel like blue and grey gives a nice sense of perspective, it is all around very well balanced and painted very nicely...

Oh so lovely Karen. One of my best child hood memories is hanging clothes outside with mom. She would chase me with a fresh warm sheet and throw it over me as the wind blew. Its one fo the happiest memories with her I have in my heart.

Thank you Olivia, Its nice to read that this brings back good memories.. that's the wonderful thing about them, we can recal them as often as we want, and they never grow old! I do have a thing about this type of subject, washing hanging in the wind always prickles my senses and i remember how wonderful fresh clean washing smells.. but i love the look of such a view too for some reason or other

I love the sent of clothes that have been dried outside but I sadly do not have a clothes line and even if I did my terror dogs might make short work of the clothing!

you did not luse your tuch Karen. even you don't paint often, i can see you know how to lay the colors in the right place. like the blue in the jeans reapiting in the sheet and more...i like the composition and the colors. i also like very much the atmosphere. its beautiful! hope to see more paintings from you!

"on cotton" - of course! It so fits.
I like when you use song titles or phrases as titles for your work - it adds an extra dimension.
But I have to advise against hanging out laundry in cow pastures. Really. Trust me on this.
