Description
Let's go out of beelitz for a while, I've got quite a lot of other things to share with you.Power plant - Liège - Belgium
HDRi from 3 RAW
Samyang 8mm Fisheye
Still trying new things here, I'm quite satisfied with this, even if it's a bit unusual for me, but I would be very interested to know you opinion about it

I like the effect created by the windows and the almost sombreness of the muted colors. How did you get up there? :0

I like this very much. It almost takes something that would be considered dark and harsh, and makes it"pretty" for the lack of a better term.

I know what you mean, I tried to play on that contrast in fact (at first I wanted to make a really dehumanized image, cold and dark, and then when I saw what potential the colors had, I just changed my mind )

I am so glad that you opted for the colors. It is a beautiful image.

By my standards, this is a pretty extreme HDR, but it works in this context.

believe it or not, but the HDR part of this image is not so strong, but I do have to admit I've been quite enthusiast with the colors here, though
anyway, I tend to hate "overdone hdr" even if I, myself can bee seen as a bit extreme in my choices in the matter, I guess it's a matter of taste
(you have some really nice B&W in your gallery, on a side note)

Damn that gave me vertigo there!
Looks like a fun place, I actually thought it was the boiler in a green house from the thumbnail. Excellent angle you used, its like you're already falling!

Fisheye FTW
It was one of my favorite places I ever explored, quite small, but really interesting

Looks amazing, also looks liek its in the middle of nowhere from what yuo can see out of the broken windows

not exactly "in the middle of nowhere", really, but at this height, all you see are the trees around (I won't give details on the location here, it is in a too good state to let "anyone" go there)

Fully agree dude, something liek this is worth keeping to ones self.
How high is the whole structure?

Well, there is a big chimney, but other than that the building is between 25 and 35 meters high, I'd say. I was on the very top of the central structure here, above the furnace (thermo-electric power plant), I guess that must have been about 20m high. But I'm not so good with distances so I'm not sure ^^"
