Dedicated to KristynaDont ask me why its called Straight. I dont know myself... the title self emerged when i was creating folder for all the psds i had done.
Put in emotinal because it really conveins some emotions in me. Maybe broken promises, i guess. Despair? Silent weep of woman whose king went to fight? Dont know.
Im very satisfied with result. However it couldnt be made without the extraordinary vintage stock by [link] . All love comes to her.

Its 1280x960 so it covers most of the screens.
Ill be probably making some brief overview and i got a new idea. I think it would be pretty cool if i released the actual psd, resized so noone can rip me of so u guyz can see the layer structure and stuff. Ill maybe do that with the other deviations too.

I was almost going to fav this..
The composition, colors, lighting, textures.. all if it is quite fantastic.
But as I looked closer, I realized that the level of smoothing on the skin really ruined it for me.. makes her seem so artificial and inhuman.
I don't know... perhaps that's what you were going for. But I think you should tone it back just a bit. I think some softening can be a nice touch-- but the skin looks like plastic.

Very nice! It really does fit in the 'emotional portraits' category I think, since it really has a kind of sad mood. I like the use of the reddish colour with the greytones!
