Hello! Been a while since I posted anything, but I’ve been working on this guy. The only reason he’s digital is because I wanted the glowing effect but couldn’t figure out how to get it on paper. Gotta admit it was fun to try a digital piece again. Be glad y’all didn’t see my older stuff *cringes*

For those of you who don’t recognize him, Curio is from a short series I wrote inspired by Mars and her rovers. The orange/red is not, in fact, rust or blood, but it’s supposed to be dust. If there’s time between family, schooling, and mandatory fun time, I’ll try to draw some of the other characters as well. If you’ve any preference which, go ahead and let me know!

Before anyone asks about the hand, I did nothing to the skeleton. I draw the doll hand, then remove lines until it looks normal, so what you see here is basically me mid-process. Other than that, I made circles for the joints, then tried to figure out what went over what, made some panels where installation looked like it might be trickier, and went with it.
