Here's Celestia! I've been working on her for awhile now, utilizing a new coloring style that takes longer but looks better. What do you think? Anything need improvement? Does it seem washed out?Related content

There is one strand of hair I would have fixed if I'd caught it sooner, but now that the piece is finished it would be difficult to go back and alter. If I fixed that one strand, the piece would be more balanced. After I've distanced myself from the piece a little more I might go back and make more edits.

Nifty though it feels a bit lacking without the rays of the sun like her cutie mark.

i tried adding those, but it didn't quite work. The result was unbalanced and awkward. Plus, adding the rays would have made it very difficult to cut out the keychain. So unfortunately, celestia will have to do without ):

It's lovely! And no, I don't think it's washed out. The only suggestion I have would be to make it so that strand of purple doesn't trace her nose -- it's messing with my eyes. Is it supposed to be laying along the front of her nose, covering it, or behind it? The highlight on that strand there is also blending in a bit with her white face. I would move the shadowed part out a bit.

I see what you mean. That's a really easy fix, I think I can take care of it. Thanks for the critique! Everything helps. I'm glad you don't think it's washed out. The version you're seeing now is one I actually altered from a previous version that was washed out, so it's good that this one seems fine.
