the noise isn't so bad..loud, but not that loud..but the ground shakes! They pour hundreds of thousands of gallons of water under the rockets, which somewhat deadens the sound and rumble

not at all at taking off...the only time we hear it breaking the sound barrier is when it lands here..then there are two huge bangs that rattle everything! and I do mean HUGE!

The bangs are so loud it's very scarey..I forget it's coming in and it makes me jump, even inside as it rattles our concrete block building...

Well they did an ultrasound on my nads,cause they hurt...my intestines are pressing up against some other stuff..but they said it was not at emergency status yet..so no lifting, no straining, take pain meds, wear a jock strap (things hang too low), and make an appt with my surgeon to let him decide when to operate...

Just take it easy.No roller skating or skateboarding for a while then or other frenetic activity

You just need to rest up,take the weight off your lower half! get yourself sorted with music ,good books and you got Toby there to keep your spirits up! I know how incarcerated you feel though.

I did get to go out with a neighbor yesterday so I could buy a jock strap per doctors orders..cannot find on in this city! and by the time we came home, I could barely walk..the more I walk, the more pain I'm in...

I have no idea how it started or what busted my gut...it did start on the 9th though..may have been helping the construction crew...nothing heavy though, but as the doc told me, I've had it longer than I've known as I had one on the left fixed in 93..and I have ordered 4 online! lol I found one in Merritt Island yesterday but it has a cup and without the cup, it's not very good...just holds me completely flat against my belly, not very comfortable at all..with the cup,maybe better..but I am NOT wearing the cup! LOL besides, it would push against my groin and that is not what i need right now!

they do seem to help me a bit, but now I'm having intense abdominal muscle cramps..I may have to go back to the ER before my doc's visit if things get worse...and yes the tobacco does help too..! one of the tobaccos I bought is 'Berry Cobbler' and smells oh so wonderful

I never know when this thing is going to hurt..sometimes it starts off early in the day and at other times, the pain doesn't start until late in the day..and yet at times,there is none at all...and no pain meds..damn ER...lol i'll get this taken care of soon I hope!

well I got pain meds from the hospital..or a prescription for some..very few..and they are gone..the ER will NOT refill the prescription, the doctor won't give them to me til i see him on the 8th now...and I'm just stuck between a rock and a hard place...and yesterday I could barely stand up or walk the pain was so bad...i did just call the doc again and they moved my appt from the 10th to the 8th..thank God...but still that's a few days away...ggrrrrrr

I'm trying to take Alleve.. I did speak with the nurse again last afternoon; she called back with news from the doctor..he said if I was having pain that tylenol wouldn't take care of, that I should go immediately to the ER as that means I have a bowel blockage..yikes! I should have gone to the ER on Wed then...ugh!
