I know there are many tribute/dedication/memorial pieces out there, and I'd be happy to feature them here, if you just let me know about them.  In the Meantime, I found this GLORIOUS piece, just today, (Tues. 10/9/2012) that just BEGS to be shown...
Please give the artist some love for her awesome, breathtaking image...

and some others I have found
from Mark's brother, Simon

and a few from the Mark's Memorial folder in

                                                                                                     :thumb328932047:

and last, but not, I hope, least, a feature on my blog I did for Mark...wp.me/p1yc93-Kz

Again, please send me the links to any other wonderful tribute or memorial pieces to MARK. I would LOVE to feature them here. Thanks.

I have a special dedication, just for Mark, that will be in my book, on the dedication page (no image, just some last words)...

YOU ARE MISSED, my friend!!!

I have yet to really digest the news. And I had no idea how close one could become with a virtual friend. I feel an emptiness, each day I log in again to DA. One that Mark filled so well. With his prolific and talented art, with his sweet and encouraging comments, with his deeply spiritual beliefs in things that go far beyond religion or institutions. Mark. I'm sorry, I did not say it before... I love you... you have given so much of yourself to all of us here on DA, asking for nothing in return and, you held an honored position in the fractal community, like no other. Mark, you are one of a kind. A MASTER fractalist, a true critical thinker, a soul of courage looking inward and outward for the truth of who we are and what we are here for.

I hope you enjoy these pieces of Mark, that have been left of him, in our hearts and souls...

.Angel Heart is a 1987 mystery-thriller film written and directed by Alan Parker, and starring Mickey Rourke, Robert De Niro and Lisa Bonet. The film is adapted from the novel Falling Angel by William Hjortsberg, and is generally faithful to the novel with the exceptions being the introduction of a child of Epiphany Proudfoot conceived at a voodoo ceremony by "a devil", and that the novel never leaves New York City, whereas much of the action of the film occurs in New Orleans.

and, just to let you know - these (but one or two) are from his earliest works, 2010 and earlier.  And, these are all taken from only ten pages from a 42 page gallery!  And I have no idea what's in his scrapbook.

I must not leave without allowing his fauna neighbors to peek in and pay their respects..

I am so glad that Mark has left so much of his life, shared with us, so we can keep his memory alive, on and on...

and this entire feature, my friends, is dedicated to one of the coolest dudes to grace our planet!!!

Your tribute to Mark is very good and touching. I only knew him for about four months but still cry when I see things like this. You have done a wonderful job and I think we are all better for having met Mark even if it was only virtually. I would hate to see how hard it would have hit me if I had known him longer or have met him in real life.

Thanks for sharing all the wonderful works of Marks and for him as well.

Janet, what a moving and beautiful tribute to our poor friend, Mark. Yes, he did leave us much too soon and I too feel a little emptiness here on dA because of it. He always left comments on my work, really sweet ones. Now when I post it doesn't seem to be complete without a comment from *kram666 . I haven't done one yet, but I have been thinking of doing a feature of him and his work in my journal. I just haven't had the time yet. But, many on dA have done some very lovely features and tributes on his beautiful art! And I know that he is missed by many here. Does anyone know if he was ill? I'm still not sure how he died. I just know he died waaaaayyyyy to young. Godspeed, Mark, and RIP.
