So now we have the Appa to my Aang. I imagine that if we were to take Appa and give him a real-world analogue, he'd totally be a VW Bus...albeit modified with 6 wheels instead of 4...Think about it, they practically live on Appa anyway, it makes sense.

I just thought what the logical modern day analogue for Appa would be. I toyed around with a repainted school bus for awhile but it looked to...prisony...

It seems so obvious now that a van/bus would be what appa's modern-day incarnation would be, but I never would of that of it earlier. Pretty darn creative!
