_//Description and origin:
This one came to my head about a month ago, and seeing as though it's nearly Christmas and also the end of my personal countdown to the 30th, I thought I would knock this one up to kind of celebrate. You know how if there is an extra special date on the calendar, sometimes you might countdown to it by crossing off the days that have passed? This is basically what this guy is doing. He can't stop thinking about the moment, hence the face to start off with. He just wants it to come quicker. So he pulls out the calendar to mark off today, and to see how many days are left. After admiring his cross-drawing skills, he sees that he is very close, hence the wide eyes and the big big grin, plus the pumping of the fist. He puts the texta and the calendar away content, before the date looms again in his mind. Loop.
_//General Stuff:
I'm not terribly happy with the expressions, but it was semi-rushed. Currently I'm not going to fix them up, what you see is what you get.
This will be my holiday deviation for you all. Festive Greetings!

the idea is cool too, I'd just like the calendar to be a bit bigger.

Nice wintery choice of colour! You've made it so well, you can tell each individual item by itself.
I love it when his eyes go wide, tell me that isn't anticipation! His grin is sweet too, but looks a little cheesy. It would be fantastic if it were exaggerated like:

I'm glad to report that his emotional process was entirely clear to me even before I read your description, Tom. The intensity with which he crosses off the date is my favorite part, but the whole thing is wistful and genuine. I'm sure everyone can identify.

hehe awesome but he puts the calendar away a bit too slow for my liking and he looks worried when getting the pen. apart from that... well done man, its awesome... better than anything i could do, keep up the good work.
