My first try at a real portrait... wanted to show the cold mood. The model is DA's very own ~goteki go check his stuff out it rocks.-------------------------------------------------------

Very cool coloring here, I lov ethe blue hoodie with the cold black/white style background. Focus is well done also, came out really good.

The background in black and white was so natural as part of this piece. I didn't even notice it until someone else mentioned it. Overall I like the lighting, but I wish the hood was pulled back a little so that there isn't so much shadow over his eye and I could see for sure the color.
Anyway, nice shot. Good cropping. And, as someone else said, I love the freckles.

i love how you put side by side - a portrait of frozen winter and an image of a living being.
his coloring dramatically contrasts with winter's pale white/gray.
