Backstory:

Hiroji is a pheasant-chicken. He is a relaxed and carefree individual, often found sleeping most of the time. His mother a Pheasant-Phoenix woman by the name of Lady Akemi, Hiroji was taught how to channel the power of Phoenix Fire, and his father is Hiroto, a Rooster warrior who taught him the way of the sword. With the combination of both teachings, Hiroji became queller of fiends and demons. Hiroji originally traveled with his father from village to village to help others in need, but during their first quest together, they were ambush and surrounded by fiends. Hiroto saved his son by holding off the fiends on his own while he had Hiroji fled to safety. Hiroji was chased by the overwhelming number of fiends, which lead him to having to jump into a raging river, washing him away to a regions unknown. Far from his homeland, Hiroji was found by a group of refugees who were also fleeing the fiendish armies. Nursed back to health, Hiroji traveled alone for a while, till he eventually was recruited by a group of fighters who were traveling to fight off the fiends. He joined them in the hopes his homeland, and ending the fiendish scourge.
