Description
Not too long back I was invited by a guy named Ben to do art for his blog, Earth616. [link]It's a blog about video games, comics, and other geeky things.
This is for an entry about the upcoming game Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Winter Soldier is a Marvel character that Ben feels would be a good choice for the future game.
What do you guys think?

Well we did eventually get a Winter Soldier in MvC, so this prediction was eventually half right.

I never heard of the Winter Soldier. but for him to clobber Guile is pretty cool. I would definitely love to play MvC3 though, but there's no point if you don't have the consoles for it. just haven't been keeping up with video games like I used to.

Sweet picture, man! I love those "vs Capcom" games, especially the games that feature Marvel characters! Spiderman / Ryu is my favorite combo team!

you should make your own comic and use angles and such as these. like citizen cane. that's what's important. gothic and anime angles make intensity and action. and you're all about action.

Anything vs. Capcom means said anything vs. Megaman X, which I think would make for an interesting match up.

Nope - to be honest, I'm a european and japanese comics' fan. But it's just a dull simplification.
Lemme explain; from Marvel, I like Iron Man, Punisher and Wolverine; from DC, I like Batman (and his "family"), Green Arrow and Barry "The Flash" Allen. But, from some years to nowadays, some super-heroes' plots are becoming to make me sick. All the same cosmic battles, all the same prejudices against mutants, and so on.
I really believe American comics are more than this. I've been reading some cool webcomics, I had read fantastic authors like Will Eisner, Hal Foster, Dik Browne, Art Spiegelman, and... so I got a conclusion: superheroes lives in a very little and confined world.
And I think Marvel is a simbol of this.

But those are just main titles living in a perpetual state. There are other comics I love that try different things. Some that were actually books first.

I know, fanboys lives in a very suffocating world, so I tell to students to look for the world outside.
