The fourth collage of things I made.

Another year, another Year In Review. I can't believe I've kept this up for 4 years now. I made the first one on a whim and here we are. Hopefully will be able to keep it up for many more years.

I have to to say, considering the bar I set for myself for 2022, I did a really good job with last year's resolution. According to my wife I am a "great Dad," which she says a lot and it never gets old. I didn't do the sketch per week and full piece per Month, but I honestly kind of forgot about that due to the baby. No seriously, I had completely forgotten that was on my resolution list until I started to reference the 2021 In Review for 2022. I did make more pieces this year than I did last year, so I consider that a win. I blew July Daily out of the water. Very little cheating, and the quality of the majority of the pieces is amazing. And while I didn't complete a page for MSDB, I did make a bunch of continuity corrections I hadn't realized I missed. Some of which I haven't posted yet. I did get that one Mesme piece out, and I at least started the next page.

Not going to lie. 2022 was pretty good for me. My baby is happy and healthy, my wife is pretty much fully recovered physically and mentally, there are some other family issues but watching my parents play with their new grandson kind of makes those worries melt away, my career is still going strong, and I made a bunch of pieces I am quite proud of. All in all 2022 was pretty good.

I hope anyone reading this had a good 2022 too.

Now, the 2023 New Years Resolution... Continue to be number 1 Dad. But I suppose that's a given. I need to lose weight. I'm hoping 50lbs, I need 60lbs for maximum health, but I would be happy with 30-40lbs for the year. I'm going to do July Daily again, and I am going to really try to get at least 3 pages of MSDB complete. Ideally one per month, but then I would be committing time that I don't really have. And this time I am going to try to remember the sketch per week thing, and full piece per month.

Here's hoping 2023 will be great for everyone!
