Being oppressed is far from being the only thing that qualifies you as LGBTQ+, but alrighty mate. Of course it's just one big competition of who's the most oppressed in Tumblr-land for you. Face it baby, we've been part of the community since the early days, it's really not that big of a deal.

When in the everloving hell did I actually mention us 'cishet aces' being oppressed? I explicitly said that LGBT+ isn't just about being oppressed. Because, once again, the LGBTQ+ community isn't a competition of who can be the most oppressed, but rather a haven for sexual minorities.

That idea is just so comically over-dramatized. Yeah, the spooky evil aces are stealing your letter A and making it aaaall about us, how horrible! Like it or not matey, things change. The A stands for something else now, as the old term has become outdated a long time ago and is no longer needed. You can fume and hiss about it all you want, but that's how it is.ย
