Well, I wouldnt call it a _big fanbase_. I guess there are only few people here who heard of them or even listen to their music, they are definitely not that well known here. But whatever, they are so great, they somehow remind me of a mixture of aphex twin and dredg (two bands (well aphex twin is not really a band) that I also really love). I love the melancholy, the sound... aw, I would love to see them live sometime <3

hahaha. dude you just struck a nerve there, because dredg are my favourite band. I've seen them only once. but it was one of the best experiences of my life.
also, a lot of people who like dredg, like GiaA too. good tastes in music.

Büschen kompliziert erklärt wie ich finde, direkt am Bild die einzelnen Schritte vorzuführen wäre deutlich effektiver meiner Meinung nach. Gut gefällt mir dagegen vorallem die Aufmachung. Ich pack's ins Shoutboard.

jaa naja, irgendwie haste schon recht. Ich wollt halt erst nur nen ganz kurzes machen und hatte dafür das Beispiel mit dem Verlauf schon fertig und dann überlegt es auf dA zu posten wenn ichs eh schon mache. Dafür hab ich dann das was ich hatte in das Beispiel eingebettet. So wirklich sinnig ist es vielleicht nicht, aber ich wollte eben auch nicht ein "wie mache ich mein Bild hübsch" tutorial machen, sondern generell die Verwendung von Ebenenmasken erklären. Aber wie gesagt, vermutlich hast du recht und es wär anders einfacher gewesen.

Das hatte ich mir auch überlegt, aber dann ist mir aufgefallen, dass da die Unterschiede ggf so gering so sind, dass man sie nicht wirklich sieht.
Irgendwo hast du schon recht, es wär auf jeden Fall irgendwie logischer und konsequenter gewesen. Ich wollte nur generell erstmal den technischen Umgang mit Ebenenmasken vermitteln.
