Of course it could be a private home too, but I imagined it as a small country inn with a dozen or more rooms and a small tavern to the left, set in a pristine rural location, hilly, "active" farmland, pastures and crops, etc.Technique: Pencil sketch, transferred to toned paper, watercolor, additional pencil and ink pen, work is still in progress.

Thanks sir. Just looked at your Casbah stuff, very interesting. I do lots of 3D models too, don't post them all. Your stuff has lots of complex curvatures, difficult to model.

That's right! Over a pint of IPA and some shepard's pie. So go ahead and feel free to write up a short story and description. This inn will also show up not far from the castle tower in my "Cascadium" sketch, look in the Castles folder in my gallery, so it has a broader setting to spur the imagination, but it's not drawn in yet on the overall view of the village. I see you like to write short pieces.

Have you tried to get into setting design for video games? I think this would work well for some kind of Fantasy game.

Have already done it for several game companies, as well as the "big one," Dungeons and Dragons, published last year in "Curse of Strahd." Working on at least three game and novel illustrations sets as we speak.

Perfect. I did that. I found old travel guides for cheap at used book stores and collected them. Some of my earliest sketches from 12 or more yrs ago were done with these. Cheaper than travelling to Europe.

Integrated walls tie the house to the land. Garden walls separate public from private. I actually need to put custom wrought iron gates in those doorways.
