OK, so with some experimentation I discovered that I could get comparable results to the point and shoot (the previous pic, "Enemy in the Midst"). I'm pretty pleased with the result, although I know it's a little noisy due to low light/high iso. I also had to crop quite a bit. But I was trying to get the red piece in focus as was suggested in my last attempt. I hope you like it better!
