Description
This is actually part of a stage designed by Frank Gehry, the Pritzker Pavilion. This is only a tiny portion of the part above the stage.I know there are a few blown highlights, but the surface was so shiny. I guess a circular polarizer would have helped, but believe me, at minus twelve, you take your shot and move on.

Hey I have this place, I was there a couple of weeks ago, I did the shot at night, with all the colors reflecting off it.
Lovely capture, love the clouds, and the intricate details of the pavilion.

I really like how you've taken an otherwise cold / manmade structure and turned into into something warm and organic with this capture - beautiful!

I really like this. The gray tone + the curve really give this shot something special. Very nice work.

I really love this piece, that build is so cool, and it reminds me a a recent Simpson ep where they built a theater.

Squee, I love Frank Gehry's work, and Chicago. I was at the Millenium park about a year ago, and I really enjoyed it. Great shot, I like how you've captured the curves. And kudos to you for taking pictures in below zero weather! The things we do for the sake of art, heh.

Curves + Composition =
I was gonna suggest using a polarizer, but then you already beat me to that in your artist's comment
-12? ouch.

Now in this one I love the texture of the sky alot. And you're very brave, or very warm blooded to take pictures at -12.
