Over the weekend, I realized I hadn't really drawn my second favorite DA couple (or rather, my favorite DA2 couple) together, so I figured I'd correct that. I want to paint this, but I'm kind of afraid I'll mess it all up considering I'm not much of a painter, so I'm posting this in case I get highly discouraged with my painting. XD I was just going to post the sketch itself and it ended up being a value study.Related content

They're at Hawke's place, right? I really like the body language in this; you're really captured their serenity (and for Mr. Broody that means a lot). Since it's a WIP, I can't really comment much on the rest of it. It looks like it's more of a morning light, which is why the light source is coming from the left, yeah?

It is Hawke's place! It was supposed to be firelight, but I think I was inspired by morning in my bedroom, so I might go that route.

It's a night scene. The shading is perfect. Unless of course they lef the lights on, in which case you need color. Does F glow in the dark? Who's house are they in anyway? Was he actually larger than the human female Hawke? Can I have fries with that?

Heh, actually it's a value study, which means I'm just blocking out where the shadows and light source are. I think I've decided on a morning scene. They should be in Hawkes house, which I'm hoping will be shown by the bed details once I get them in. And he's about the same size as Hawke; she's just snuggled in the crook of his shoulder.
